CHANGE Adult Bible Fellowship Lessons
Sugar Creek Baptist Church exists, as its mission, ―to love and lead all people to life change in Christ.‖ The key word in this mission statement for our study is the term CHANGE. We desire to see people with changed lives that are passionately pursuing a deeper, more meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ.
Not long ago our staff developed these life CHANGE spiritual growth indicators for everyone at Sugar Creek. We know that many of our members are faithful Christians who want to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. One of the frustrating things about this growth is that they aren’t always certain what are some next steps for their growth. This is why we have developed the life CHANGE indicators.
In order to help our guests and members with each of these CHANGE indicators we are beginning a series of steps to better equip and educate them about their growth. One way is by creating these Adult Bible Fellowship lessons for each of our groups. We believe one of the most significant avenues for life CHANGE is through our terrific Adult Bible Fellowships. This book of lessons about life CHANGE is specifically for use in our Adult Bible Fellowships.
The six lessons in this text are created around each of the unique life CHANGE indicators. As a way of helping create a meaningful lesson, we have chosen to use some of Jesus’ parables in the Gospel of Luke as the main passage for each indicator. Jesus used parables to teach deep Kingdom of God truths to His followers. We believe that by studying Jesus’ stories and then examining accompanying passages we will help all of our people connect with these important life CHANGE indicators.
