June 11: Day 1 - PEACE

Bible Story - Peace, Be Still; Mark 4:35-41

Lesson Focus - Jesus gives us peace, no matter what problems we face.

Bible Verse - Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

The first day of VBS is complete and all kind of great things are gong on in the Extreme Adventure. Take a look at some of the activities and fun events the kids participated in, plus the exciting time with Miss Pat and Pastor Mark.

June 12: Day 2 - POWER

Bible Story - It is Written; Matthew 4:1-11

Lesson Focus - Jesus shows us how to depend on God’s powerful Word when we are tempted to sin.

Bible Verse - I Corinthians 10:13 “God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out”.

More crafts and music at day 2 of VBS. The excitement continues as Miss Pat actually ate a bug. Pastor Mark felt so bad for her, he did too!

June 13: Day 3 - LOVE

Bible Story - The Good Shepherd; Mark 15:1-16:20, John 10:1-18

Lesson Focus - Jesus loves us so much that He died and rose again so that we can become members of God’s family.

Bible Verse - I John 3:16 “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.”

The Pastor and Miss Pat both lost today's challenge. What will happen next?

June 14: Day 4 - HOPE

Bible Story - Praise in Prison; Acts 16:16-40

Lesson Focus - Jesus is with us, so we can be fearless about our future.

Bible Verse - Psalm 33:20-21 “We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name.”
