There are several different logins that a visitor might choose to access when visiting SCBC online options. Here is a brief description of each one.
1. SUGARCREEK.NET Profile: This is the new website login that allows you to access the social interaction our new site will offer. If you wish to leave comments (where offered) or participate in ABF or public discussion groups, you will need a user account or "user profile". This is optional and is not necessary to access general public content on this site.
lyf.net Profile: SCBC's student site, lyf.net, uses your exact same login as sugarcreek.net. You may use your same username and password for both accounts! You only need to create one account and it works for both sites. Each login is separate though, meaning if you are logged into one site, you still have to log into the other site to participate in any postings.
lyf.net does contain extra profile options that relate to social networking that may be of interest to students, but is not asked for when completing the profile for sugarcreek.net.
2. FELLOWSHIP ONE: This is what some users think of as the previous "mysugarcreek" account. It was never really a SCBC website account, but an account for "Fellowship One". Fellowship One is the system SCBC uses to handle financial transactions for event registration, online giving, etc. This is why, when registering for an event, it requests a new login. (Think of it as our PayPal account.)
This is not the same username and password used on the new sugarcreek.net or lyf.net websites. This is why you may see the following message by some registration links:
"NOTE: This online registration takes you away from sugarcreek.net and requires a separate login."
If you had an account on the previous "mysugarcreek.net" (i.e.;Fellowship One), that account is still active and still works the same. Remember, this is for paid event registrations or other financial transactions.
3. LIFT PRAYER: http://sugarcreek.liftprayer.net/
The LIft Prayer website is a different website, intended as a separate ministry tool. Created several years ago, this special tool allows you to leave a prayer request, while praying for the needs of others. More information on the "Watchman on the Wall" prayer ministry can be found here.
4. SUGARCREEK.TV
This media portal allows for voting and commenting on videos. No login is required, since comments are moderated before posting.
