Proverbs 4:23 “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

1 Peter 4:10 “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

Ephesians 4:15 “Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of Him who is the head, that is, Christ.”

Galatians 6:2, 5 “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ … each one should carry their own load.”

Matthew 18:15 “If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.”

John 13:34 “A new command I give to you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

Matthew 5:37 “All you need to say is simply “yes” or “no”; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.”

Proverbs 19:19 “A hot-tempered person must pay the penalty; rescue them, and you will have to do it again.”

2 Corinthians 13:11 “Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.”

Action Steps this week …

– I will begin the process of building Boundaries by buying and reading the book Boundaries (see below) or I will watch this video, sugarcreek.net/boundaries-3

– I will take baby steps and begin to implement boundaries in one relationship.

– If I am struggling to develop boundaries, I will make a commitment to talk to someone and ask for help.

– I commit to praying each day that in the coming weeks God will show me where I need to guard my heart.
