These team members are a vital part of our staff and are responsible for making sure our ministry departments have all the creative and communication tools they need to succeed. In this role, you will report to the Communications Director and be the liaison between 3-4 teams and the creative team members on the Communications Team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build relationships with assigned departments to develop trust, high-level service and understanding of each department’s communications needs.
  • Collaborate with Communications Team to ensure branding and strategic communication is aligned across all ministry departments.
  • Keep accurate records and notes from each assigned department to assist with internal communication.
  • Attend department meetings to proactively engage with assigned department needs.
  • Consult with department members to produce creative storytelling through preparing necessary design plans, storyboards, concepts, and layouts for projects.
  • Ensure all communication needs are clearly defined in a Scope of Work document and that departments have access to track the developmental process.
  • Assist Communications Team with content creation when needed. This may include basic graphic design, video editing and social media post creation.

CANDIDATE MUST HAVES

  • Bachelor Degree. Marketing, Communications, or other specialized media training is preferred but not required.
  • Warm personality that is confident in building relationships and collaborating with others.
  • Excellent at leading others through influence first and authority second.
  • Can-do attitude that believes every glass is half full and an analytical problem-solver with an attention to details.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to lead multiple projects at the same time.

CANDIDATE NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Working knowledge of project management software
  • Proficiency to write and speak in English and Spanish.
  • Experience using Adobe software products and Final Cut Pro.
  • Experience managing social media campaigns and strategies.
