We don’t have tricks, but we do have treats! Come out and help this community. Decorate your car, bring your candy and dress in your costumes.
Please join our local Mission Partners, Trey and Tiffany White, at the Avana parking lot in an outreach to the Muslim and unreached community at the Avana Apartments in Sugar Land.
We are looking for a maximum of 10 cars, but more volunteers may carpool together.
Volunteers should bring decorations to decorate their trunk, costumes/festive wear is highly encouraged. Each volunteer needs to bring their own candy to pass out. Bagged chips, pretzels, other snacks and making your own treat bags are great ideas too.
Volunteers are encouraged to start conversations with the parents of the kids that come out. Key conversation topics can be focused on, “we’re with SCBC and we want to love on our community.” (just an example.) Please come about 30 minutes early to decorate and find your parking spot. We will meet at the front leasing office parking lot.
