Have you ever noticed how dangerous the word almost can be? It can give the impression of being good enough, without the feeling of failure. Yet when it comes to following Jesus, many of us convince ourselves that “almost” is fine. This Sunday we’ll wrestle with one of Jesus’ most challenging invitations and ask an uncomfortable but life-changing question: Are we truly following Him or settling for less?
