John 10:10b

I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

1 Corinthians 13:4-5

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proudor rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.

There are gaps between what we expect to happen and what actually happens.

When you have a gap fill it with love.

1. In order to get UNSTUCK in our relationships, we need to see the best in one another.

Philippians 4:8 ESV

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

2In order to get UNSTUCK in our relationships, we must give joy to others.

1 Corinthians 13:6 NLT

It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.

Galatians 5:13-14 The Message

It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life. Just make sure that you don’t use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom. Rather, use your freedom to serve one another in love; that’s how freedom grows. For everything we know about God’s Word is summed up in a single sentence: Love others as you love yourself. That’s an act of true freedom.

3. In order to get UNSTUCK in our relationships, we can never give up.

1 Corinthians 13:7 (NLT)

Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

Action Steps I will take this week…

  · I will be intentional in how I see the good in people and not the bad.

· I will read 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 and focus on one verse that I will try to live out in my relationship with others.

· I will not give up. I will not throw in the towel or walk away. I will love no matter what.

· I will pray for God to use me to show unconditional love to someone in my life that I haven’t shown love to before.
