It’s Christmas time again. The sales are advertised, the lists are made and if you can believe it, the store shelves have been stocked for months. Crazy isn’t it? But now the city’s official tree lighting has happened and the sights and sounds of Christmas are everywhere. It should be, because it is the celebration of the birth of Jesus! This year I want us to talk about a character of the story of Christmas usually left out. In fact, you may have never heard of this person before. Join us as we explore the “The Forgotten Character of Christmas,” the challenges that he put before Mary and Joseph in the first days of Jesus, and how we can accept those challenges today.
