Our purpose in Women’s Ministry is a mirror of the church’s purpose. We want “to love and lead all [women] to life change in Christ.” The first requirement in loving you is making sure that you know that you are accepted and have a place to belong.

You may have noticed that we have a new logo. We wanted to create an identity that the women of Sugar Creek could identify with. The W stands for Woman. She stands tall and strong and reaches her hands up in the air in worship to Him. The exclamation point is about feeling. We women do that well, don’t we. We want you to feel loved, to feel accepted, to feel, well, excited. So The W! is more than just a word or a place. It is the area in your heart that is warmer because you know you have come home.

The W! also aligns with our church’s overall mission statement to LOVE and LEAD all people to LIFE CHANGE in Christ. We creatively use words that start with the letter W to communicate the heartbeat of Sugar Creek Baptist Church Women’s Ministry.

Paul, the apostle of our Lord, inspires us with these words: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

As we build upon The W! foundation, it is our prayer that what we do here helps women “overflow with hope,” and that it resonates with women everywhere as they connect their hearts with the happenings going on at The W!
