From Sorrow to Strength

"Life inevitably has a way of leaving us with moments of deep grief, disappointment, and unanswered questions. Pain even has a way of naming us. In Genesis 35, Rachel names her newborn son Ben-Oni, meaning ""son of my sorrow."" But before that name could define his future, Jacob renamed him Benjamin, ""son of my right hand""—a name of strength, favor, and hope.
In this message, we'll discover how God meets us in our pain and reminds us that while sorrow may shape our story, it does not have to define our identity. Ultimately, Benjamin's story points us to Jesus—the Man of Sorrows—who entered our suffering, defeated death, and transformed our greatest sorrow into our greatest hope.
If you or someone you know is in a season of sorrow, pain, and loss, bring them with you this Sunday for this message of hope.
