Safety and Security

Background Checks

We have hundreds of the world’s best volunteers who are eager to teach your children. All Creek Kids volunteers and staff submit to regular criminal background checks. In addition, our staff and volunteers are routinely trained in our written abuse prevention policies and discipline policies to ensure your child’s safety.

Secure Check-In

Our check-in system is an important element of our security plan. Each Creek Kid will receive a printed name tag and security code to wear while on campus. A parent or guardian keeps the corresponding security tag with the matching code and must present the tag to the Creek Kids team at check out.

Secured Areas

Creek Kids staff, key volunteers and emergency personnel wear two-way communication devices at every church event so quick, open communication is always available. In addition, restricted access to classroom areas also help us protect children.

Safety Training

Awareness and education are key to a safe environment for children. Our written policies and routine practices are designed to strengthen security and to keep the children safe. At all Creek Kids training events, meetings, and through regular email communications, the Creek Kids staff shares new, relevant information regarding best practices for keeping kids safe.
