Our Vision

As Christians, God has called us to live for something greater. At Sugar Creek, you will discover that the greatest adventure you could ever live is joining God's plan to build his eternal Kingdom.

There are three ways we help you discover your part in God's mission.

Whether you are serving at a local outreach event or traveling with a short term mission trip, we will teach you how to pray for the work being done. Prayer helps us be in tune with the heart of the Father. So, we plan like everything depends on planning, but we pray because everything depends on prayer.

God has entrusted the saving message of the gospel to the church so that the church can make it available to those who desperately need it. We equip you with tools to share your faith with your friends, with strangers in our city, and with people from other parts of the world. Through workshops and practical short term trip trainings, you will learn how to develop friendships and build bridges for others to discover the truth of The Gospel.

We partner with great ministries to provide local service opportunities and short-term mission trips to different places, so you can be mobilized to fulfill your calling. Some of our partners are reaching pockets of the greater Houston area and others are serving in unreached regions around the world. At Sugar Creek, we are a church of the nations, sent to reach the nations.

According to Matthew 28:19-20 and Acts 1:8, we are called to share the love of Christ and help people grow in their faith in our community and worldwide. Here is how we can systematically accomplish that.


Our Community

God has called Sugar Creek Baptist Church to strategically establish different campuses of our church in our community so we can effectively reach our community with the hope of Christ. We equip and mobilize our members at all our campuses to bring life change in Christ to the community around them.

Our City

Houston is one of the country’s top 5 largest and most diverse cities. Over 7 million people live, work, play, and go to school in the greater Houston area. The needs are more than one church can handle. So, we collaborate with local Christ-centered partners with different areas of expertise to meet needs and plant Christ-centered churches in Houston and surrounding areas.

Our Country

Church experts claim that the US does not have enough churches to keep up with the growth of our population and effectively reach our nation with the gospel. We invest our resources and send our people to work with church planters and gospel-centered organizations that find effective ways to love and lead communities across our nation to experience life change in Christ.

Our World

Over five billion people worldwide have not believed in Christ. Many have not even heard His name. We support and work with church planting organizations and movements in different parts of the world so that together we can take the gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations.
