Death is Inevitable — Planning is Essential
We all know that death is a part of life—God’s Word confirms this truth. Yet, it’s something many of us avoid talking about or planning for, even with those closest to us. We invite you to join us for a thoughtful and hope-filled discussion on Finishing Strong. Together, we’ll explore how to prepare well for the inevitable, so our families are cared for, comforted, and guided when the time comes. Everyone who attends will receive a thumb drive loaded with helpful templates and examples of the documents discussed. This is an opportunity to give your loved ones peace of mind—and to finish strong with wisdom, grace, and love. We hope to see you there.
Led by a team of Pastors and Deacons from Sugar Creek—each of whom has personally experienced the sudden loss of a loved one—this conversation will gently walk us through:
- How to talk with your spouse, children, and family about your death
- Organizing the essential documents your family will need
- Writing an “In the Event of My Death” letter
- Preparing your obituary
- Planning your memorial service
- Helping your family grieve well
