What is Rooted?

Rooted is a 10-week, group-based experience that helps you develop Christ-centered rhythms to deepen your connection with God, the church, and your purpose. Each week of Rooted focuses on topics and daily disciplines essential to following Jesus. Come discover a deeper understanding of God and prayer, suffering and repentance, serving and generous living, sharing your story and worship, all through the lens of God's Word. Each Rooted session meets online to discuss our journey through the Rooted Workbook and live it out together.

What happens at Rooted?

When you attend a Rooted class each week online, you'll be greeted by our host team and a group of people committed to walking alongside and encouraging each other. You will meet with your Rooted group each Sunday to discuss what you’ve learned in the devotional reading and grow through discipleship experiences. Rooted meets every Sunday and you will have 5-days of weekly devotional readings in your Rooted Workbook to do on your own time.

Welcome

All classes are conducted online through Zoom, so you can attend from anywhere on any device. Each class begins with a relaxed time of introductions designed to help everyone feel comfortable, welcomed, and ready to join the conversation.

Watch

Each Alpha session features a short, documentary-style video that explores some of life’s biggest questions. These videos are designed to spark honest conversation about faith, life, meaning, and the basics of Christianity.

Discuss

After the video, everyone has the opportunity to share their thoughts in a small group conversation. There is no pressure to have the right answer. Alpha is a safe place to ask questions, listen to others, and explore faith at your own pace.

To make the online experience feel more personal, we provide Alpha Kits for participants. These kits are designed to help you engage with each session and feel connected to the group, even when you are joining from home.

Once you register, we will send your Alpha Kit directly to you. It is one more way we want to make Alpha welcoming, practical, and easy to join, no matter where you are watching from.
