Isaiah 9:6 | December 7, 14, 21 - 2025

We don’t always reach for what’s right, we reach for what’s closest.
2 The people who walk in darkness will see a great light. For those who live in a land of deep darkness, a light will shine. Isaiah 9:2 For a child is born to us, a son is given to us.The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:2
The arrival of Jesus means we can stop reaching for:
1. Counsel
2. Confidence
3. Coverage
“For the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes each one he accepts as his child.” Hebrews 12:6
4. Comfort
The arrival of Jesus isn’t about me reaching for God, but God reaching for me.
