Everyone is on a journey sooner or later to find themselves; to understand who God made them to be. This current culture makes a big emphasis on self-discovery but makes race, sexuality and gender at the center of the pursuit. It purposely pits us against each other with intended winners and losers. It demands capitulation or punishment. The Bible also makes self-discovery an important part of its message to us. Unsurprisingly, its criteria is totally different than this confused culture. Its goal is to show us how to live with relationship, confidence, conviction and acceptance.
